Eli is three months old!!!

I can't believe my little man is three months old! These last few months have just flown by and he is getting so big! Currently, Eli is 14 pounds and getting fatter by the day!!! My big boy! At three months old, Eli is rolling over from his front to his back (when he feels like it), soooo close to sitting up on his own, sleeping through the night, still loving the num-nums, getting brown eyes (just like mommy!), loves watching cartoons (when mommy lets him), loves his Johnny Jump-Up, likes to be outside,  "talking" like crazy, teething (although we still haven't seen a tooth yet), smiles at everyone and is an all around happy baby!

Okay, again lazy blogger here...I swear I will be better about it from now on though. I finally got our pictures loaded onto my laptop (which I am on way more than the desk top because I can have the laptop while I nurse, which is all the time!). So, updates for you guys:

Eli's First Trip To The Zoo

So on Sunday, Jake, Eli and I went to the zoo with my mom, Jakob and Jesse. We pretty much had a blast and Jake had lots of opportunities to try out his awesome photography skills. I am also getting better at Photoshop so with our combined skills, there are some pretty sweet pictures :)

Safety 1st My @$$

So, I was trying to clip Eli's fingernails today as I'd been putting it off for days and it really needed to be done. We had just gotten back from work so he was still in his carseat and asleep. I didn't want him to wake up so I crouched down and began to clip his fingernails. Well, the clipping noise woke him a little but he was still asleep so I kept going. I was on the pointer finger of his left hand and went to clip and he moved. I ended up cutting a little chunk out of his poor finger! Ugh! He started crying and I started crying, and he was bleeding and crying and I was crying and crying! It was horrible! Not a good day to say the least. He seems okay now and it doesn't seem to bother him, but I still feel like the worlds worst mother! Has this happened to anyone else? So from now on I will be following the advice I got from a friend after telling her my story about today. I will be biting his fingernails only!!! I am super tempted to throw away those stupid Safety 1st clippers. I really thought they were supposed to be not as sharp! Grrrr!

Our friend and amazing photographer Jessyka Parsons took Eli's second set of photos. They turned out amazing as well! Although I got peed on (keeping in mind that Eli holds his pee forever, so it was quite a large amount!) Eli was such a trooper and he was very cooperative. Thanks Jessyka!!!
